How did the Scrumpanion app change out Team?
We have been using our app for estimations daily, and incorporating results in our projects continuously. We have collected the changes we have experienced in our team associated with the app.

1. Improved Communication- Listening
Communication skills are essential for anyone working in a team. A vital communication skill is knowing how to voice criticism to drive the team forward to solve a problem. As we have been communicating and expressing opinions more often, we learned that showing appreciation for what the person did well and then explaining what they could have done better created a positive framework.
Excellent communication also means knowing when to stay silent. If you cannot drive the discussion forward, it’s better to say nothing.

2. Confidence -Compliments
Confident people prefer to give compliments. A confident person will view constructive criticism as feedback that they can use to make improvements. Using the app built equal confidence in the team to address and overcome problems and focus more on improvements.

3. Positive, not HAPPY
Using the app helped us to be conscious of staying positive. Positivity means finding a solution to a problem rather than passing the blame and dwelling on things you can’t control. By keeping a positive attitude and holding out even when weathering the storm, rubs off on your colleagues and creates a wonderfully productive workplace atmosphere. 4. Empathy Awareness
Empathy is about the awareness of how other people feel. If you’re unable to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and see things from their viewpoint, people are not going to enjoy working with you. Through more transparency, especially measuring happiness in a team, we learned more about problems and members in the group and increased empathy between the members.

5. Honesty-Transparency
With an honest person, you know where you stand, they say things as they are. When the work relationship is based on transparency, it creates deeper relationships. When team members relate to one another better, they also produce higher results for the organization.

6. Intristic Motivation
As we have raised the qualities of the team with better discussions and communication, we have noticed a shift in the quality of motivation. Mastering our new found skills we were looking for practicing it. This attitude had stayed with us even when we were working in cross-functional environments. When your teammates are passionate about their disciplines and fundamentally motivated, the positivity is contagious.

7. Reliable- Home Office is KING
Workers can be extremely reliable when they’re allowed to work remotely on a schedule that aligns with their personal life, giving them ample privacy. Distance has taught us that to make a meaningful contribution, it’s crucial to respect individuality and allow teams to work in a style that maximizes their potential. On top of all, we save a ton of money which we can invest in our team. It also allows us to be kind to the planet.

8. Adaptable Working Habits
As time passed, we noticed higher flexibility towards the working habits and personalities of our colleagues. With stronger bonds formed by the app, team members have worked hard to complete projects on time. The team also adapted to new requirements more quickly; the willingness to learn new information and pick up new skills rocketed within the group.
